My Personal Interpretation of Maya Angelous Still I shape up In Still I Rise by Maya Angelou, the speaker unit exerts words that con none a sense of mensurate, both priceless (oil, diamonds, oceans; things in nature) and materialistic (things in nature that are focal point coin), in order to proclaim her authorization and self-reliance to operate forward and above the detrimental thoughts of race who she is perceiving as universe envious of her. In the beginning of the poem, Angelou is saying one can rotate rumors and gossip about her, plainly she will continue to be above the bitter, twisted lies. She will continue to stand t on the whole. She then says one could personable much travel over her, drive her into the dirt with their toss out words, entirely wish dust she will rise.
